About the Expert

The expert behind LabHandler is Rebecca Pierrot. She is an industry expert in laboratory quality and management systems. She has spent 20 years working as quality manager in a number of different testing laboratories.

Rebecca is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. She began her career as a bench chemist, but transitioned to quality fairly quickly.

Systems thinking, problem solving, and a fair amount of grit seemed to be the right recipe for an impactful quality professional. Through the years she was able to elevate each lab she worked with by implementing tools and influencing attitudes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Today, she uses her experience and her insights to help laboratories near and far elevate their laboratories.
